I'm a winner!
Well, I always knew I was a winner, but when I complete a goal I set out to reach I feel even more like a winner. I took the Nanowrimo challenge and wrote a novel in 30 days. I'm not one of those people who has always wanted to write a novel although like you reader I've read thousands of them. But there is such a feeling of accomplishment in doing it. How many people dream about doing it all their lives and don't. I feel like I can touch the sky. I hope you will take up the challenge next year. And there's supposed to be another contest called script frenzy going on in April. Best Regards!

November is National Novel Writing Month
November is National Novel Writing Month. If you've ever wanted to write a novel, now is the time to do it. Even though the writing contest started on November 1st and ends on the 30th, it's not too late. Anyone can do it. Don't wait until you're older and think back in your life, I always wanted to write a novel. Do it now. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Please join others around the world who are doing it by visiting this website http://www.nanowrimo.org. Enjoy!

watch movies on IMDB
You can now watch movies at IMDB, the Internet Movie Database, the website that offers summaries of movie plots. They've added 6,000 full-length movies, whose content comes mostly from HULU, and a small number from CBS, Sony, and independent filmmakers. Enjoy!

Just a thought
I like books that encourage us to be the best we can possibly be. This excerpt comes from a book I was perusing called 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself: Change your Life Forever by Steve Chandler.
Ponder and enjoy!
Under the subtitle Let Your Whole Brain Play is this gem:
The best ways to activate whole-brain thinking are through 1) goal-visualization play 2) joyful work and 3)revitalizing play.

Different search engines to try
Usually when we search we go to Google. Why not challenge yourself and try a new search engine or search strategy. Here are a couple:
Visual searches: Kartoo http://kartoo.com ; Pagebull http://pagebull.com ; Quintura http://quintura.com and the kid's version http://kids.quintura.com
Clustering search engine (grouped by topics): Clusty http://clusty.com
Social search engine (to search sites like del.icio.us, Digg or Reddit): 50 Matches http://50matches.com
Search for articles, books and journals (okay, perhaps this isn't new but how often do we go here?): http://scholar.google.com
